Just because I live in a small town
I’m not poor
I’m not naive
I’m not superstitious

Just because I live in a small town
I don’t have an accent
I’m not Amish
I don’t farm
And I don’t chew straw

Just because I live in a small town
It doesn’t mean you’re smarter than me
More technologically advanced than me
More stylish than me
Or even more social than me.

Just because I live in a small town
Why should I be labeled as uneducated?
Why shouldn’t I be able to walk to a local store?
What’s the fun of a polluted city?
