Glad you asked! It's supposed to be about usability and making your websites visually usable, as well as navigatable (is that a word?) ... so like, you should make your sites easy to read by not using colors that clash like crazy.
And the reference to the goggles doing nothing is supposed to be releated to becoming blind when looking at a site with a bad color combination and having your protective eye gear do nothing.
... Okay, it's a stretch, but it was better than a generic entry title. :P
