Rules for the Test:
-
No talking to your neighbor or looking at their monitor. If your TA says they think you cheated in any way, you will get an F for the assignment.
-
You may use your textbook and the class website for notes, but you may not look at your old work or any other online resources. THE ONLY WEBSITE WE SHOULD SEE ON YOUR MONITORS (other than your answer page) IS THE CLASS SITE.
-
All your exam files must be e-mailed to your TA and uploaded to your server space in your root directory. The first page must be saved as "exam.html"
-
Once your TA has receieved an e-mail containing all the parts to your test, you may have quiet silent free time.
Journal Question
By being a member of this website, you are part of an online community. The community in this case is made up of mainly students from one of the two internet classrooms who share information on the forums and chat. Almost all of the members of this community have several things in common; the class they attend, their ages, etc. What other internet communities do you belong to? What common bonds exist between the users in those communities? How is information shared? If you don't belong to any other internet communities, answer hypothetically (make one up and answer the questions).
Homework
-
Make sure your index is fully updated.
-
Come to class with an idea for your final project, and a backup idea in case we don't think your first idea will work well.
