How to log into the FTP:

We recommend using AbsoluteFTP to upload your materials. Click on the "Start" Menu > All Programs > Networking > AbsoluteFTP. Click the top-left icon to "Quick Connect".

Host/IP: atdplogs.berkeley.edu
Username: Last name
Password: First initial + last initial + birthdate (mmddyy)

Ex, if your name is James Bond, and your birthday is 05/16/85, your login information will be:
Username: bond
Password: jb051685

However, as there were several students with the same last name, the following students will use their first name as a login instead:

  • Jamie Lin

  • Jonathan Lin

  • David Lin

  • Gregory Liu

  • April Yang

  • Allison Wong

Journal Question:

How long have you been using a computer/the Internet? What kind of computer do you have at home? What do you usually spend most of your computer time at home doing? What do you hope/expect to learn from this class?

Homework

Finish up your "first webpage ever" and journal page. Read pages 273 - 281 in the Nutshell book, up until "Alternate Stylesheets".

Also, please check out this poll and vote on how you would like to make up the July 4th session.

Its nice to see that we practice fire drills every day. Those things are damned hard to remember.
