Not only that, the final exam will take place in sweltering heat and almost utter darkness ... according to University higher-ups, because of the current heat-wave sweeping the nation, we at Berkeley need to do our part to conserve energy by turning off all non-essential electrical devices, such as air conditioning units, and lights.
You will, obviously, be able to see your monitors, which will NOT be turned off, thank goodness. They will simply be turned down to the lowest possible dimness while retaining a bit of visibility. If you have trouble seeing the test questions, just lean closer to your dim monitor, peer, and squint.
Don't complain to Kass or Trev or any of the TAs, or to ATDP administration, please! These are orders that come directly down from the UC Berkeley Chancellor's office. And besides, you must all do your part to solve our global warming crisis. ;p
