How do we download games on these computers? some do get downloaded but some say something abot adminstrator priviliedges or something....whats the deal?

Yes, all LAN games are being blocked by Windows Firewall. Which means you wont be able to play against your classmates, only in single player :(

Actually, I tried it, and the instructor login/pass doesn't appear to have any privileges worth speaking of. Still can't change the firewall stuff. So we may be out of luck. :|
Have yet to try the port 80 thing though...
