NO MAPLESTORY??? D: -cry- Oh well, I involuntarily quit after my friend decided to drop it until after summer Geometry. YOU LUCKED OUT, TAs. I tend to get hyper after a good, long day of pointless MS.

Greetings and pardon the intrusion. I will now begin raiding this website (after I found out my old login still works, harhar =). My name is Daniel and I've been called by all its derivatives and variations of said derivatives including Dan, Danny, Danny boy, Dan-chan, Daniel-san, Dan the Man, etc. The community here has chosen to call me simply 'Dan'. I have been with ATDP since the second grade and was a member of TIC, AIC, and TVA in the last four years as a student and was a TA just the previous summer. So I guess you can say I've been around. However, I will be unable to take part in ATDP/TIC/TVA this time around. Instead, I'll be attending a leadership conference as well as summer school down in southern California and possibly working, in an attempt to get my life/education straightened out. While I won't be physically present, I do hope that I will be virtually in the lab, pestering your instructors and TA and maybe even you. ;P

Something I love, and I'm sure many here share the same passion, is food. I don't merely eat to survive. I eat for pleasure, to critique, to make conversation and well... LIVE. I have a fascination with tea, which in my book, trumps coffee. And with my tea, I like something sweet such as cake or some other pastry. Music is a fine companion. I listen to a wide variety; hip hop, pop, R&B, dance, techno, classical, rock, game and movie soundtracks, predominantly from the US and East Asia. But even better than food and music is sweet fellowship with my amigos. I rarely skip out on a chance to hang out with the people whose presence I enjoy.

Other than that, my other interests lie in art (making and appreciating, though I haven't done much of the former as of late), television (haven't watched in awhile), games (haven't played in awhile), volleyball (haven't played in awhile, but read much about it), the piano (haven't played this awhile either), among other things. You might have noticed all the parentheses where I state I haven't done something in awhile, which is true. I'll stick with the age old excuse, "I don't have time." And I don't (but I'm still doing things I love and other things I don't >_>).

So I leave my introduction with this: Do not waste your time, because when all is said and done, it truly is precious. These next six weeks go by fast and so I encourage you all to be pro-active, talk to some people, make a few friends, learn and grow and just have a bit of fun. I thoroughly enjoyed my time with TIC/AIC/TVA, but it's really up to you to make the most of it and this goes for anything, whether it's school or work, etc. Well, I do hope all of you will enjoy your brief time here as I have done in previous years. I don't mind chatting, so feel free to bother me. You can ask me anything (but you might not always get an answer), like asking me to try and convince your instructors to give you a better grade. I can't guarantee they will listen, but hey, who knows? ;D
