Quote from Innakins:

yes because (if you read my article).....the milk is designed for calves. their digfestive systems are much larger, rougher, and entirely different than humans. and as previously stated calves, "have four stomachs and gain 20 stone or more in a matter of months, sometimes weighing more than 71 stone before their second birthdays"

Interesting indeed.

and anyone who says that communism is better than capitalism is just knows nothing and is ignorant.

Ouch, that stung. T_T

Quote:

captialism has jsut the as hopeful theoretical idealness and sure works better. If you take everything you have for granted go live in north korea at the moment or anywhere else that is communist. Those people lie a lot more to the people.

There's a big reason I said "theoretically", which i'll explain in a bit.

Quote:

At least here you have the chance to hear about it. I am not saying capitalism is perfect but it sure as hell is not even comparable to communism. Do you know how many people have been killed from it?!

Let's see... secret service assassinations... countless russian serfs outcasted... oh, sorry. I'm interruperting your speech.

wow. at least here you have choice and free will to do what ever you want. To live the life you want and if you work hard enough to can do what you want. I can not believe someone would say something so offensive and closeminded

Wouldn't it be considered "closeminded" to bash the person before they could explain their reasoning? Anyways...

When I say communism, I often mean socialism, since they ARE the same, except that communism has that negative "loaded word" spin upon it.

Now, socialism, if my terms are right, is where people live in equality with each other: same food, same job pay, same in just about.. everything! With this "sameness", people would live in harmony with each other, since everyone would be treated with the same respect as everyone else, and all would be happy. ^_^ But, of course, as with all hope, there comes problems...

Humans are naturally selfish, making it hard for there to be equality. To "solve" the problem, you would have to install "equality police" who's job are to make sure people are equal. But then of course, since people are naturally selfish, some police will be greedy and give themselves "authority", which breaks the chain of equality. This very simple trait of humans makes socialism impossible to do, because mankind is unable to deal with "equality"; even if they could, another problem lurks in the distance.

Let's assume that humans were able to get over their "selfishness". Everyone was happy being equal. But then, one day, someone would think with good intentions, "What if there is some inequality but neither of them know about it?" (In example, a person trading a penny for a quarter and both sides thought it was a fair trade). From this thought, extreme legalists would come about making sure everyone is getting their fair share. And now, another human trait comes into light: being judgemental. These legalists (think Pharisees) would put others down for not realizing their inequalities. And thus the hierarchy breaks the chain of socialism.

Socialism is theoretically possible, but human traits prevent it.

How is capitalism all fine and dandy? It's "dog eat dog" and using anything to get ahead.. -_-;;

I see this post is still active...

Goyen, here is where capitalism is "fine and dandy": it utilizes the very traits that prevent communism from working, especially greediness.

Humans are greedy -- humans want things, to survive or to enjoy. To get everything they want, humans either trade or steal.

Since stealing takes away from others unjustly, it is the government's job to ensure no one steals.

Trade is a much better alternative -- there is net gain for all. Therefore, everyone benefits.

It's not dog eat dog.

Now I just have to wait for you to tear my thing apart with your witty quote things... but I'm still right.

BTW I still want to talk about "pure utilitarianism."

Oh ya... about milk.

Here's how Inna is wrong:

Cow milk is meant for developing and strengthening calves.
Adult humans are as strong as calves, or at the same development as calves.
Therefore, adult humans can drink cow milk.

Lactose intolerance is for the poor unfortunate ones (especially East Asians) who cannot digest lactose any longer. However, the people who can drink milk should take advantage of it while they can.

Doctors say to drink milk.

GO MILK!! Ovaltine is good in milk... its like chocolate milk but healthier supposedly... ^^

Go read Animal Farm as to why communism won't work.... ^_^;;

I guess capitalism is that way...... i think it might be that way because of the badness of human traits and everything.... i mean... if you combined communism and capitalism, it'd be a pretty ok world..... (equality, but people own their own... stuff... ^^;;) but it would never work.. so....

meh, don't mind me, i'm a terrible debater... ^^

[size=20]GO MILK!!

*is completely shocked* How dare you! XD

But to state what I think directly, it's really odd how you say that. I DESPISE people who outword others and claim they're right.

My thoughts on arguing are like a poker game: If you have the best hand (aka you're right), then it doesn't matter all the tricky manuevers that opponents do (aka they "play their cards right").
If you stick to what you believe in, then no matter what they do, you will win in the end.

Anyways, now to your post.

*Ahem* Could you please explain how utulizing "greed" would be a good thing? Often, greed is used to say that some person wants all of ______ for himself. Would that not mean one person would have more, and the other less? That appears to not follow ultulitarianism.Secondly, is not greed the stem of nearly all "evils" in the world? Greed for power, Greed for wealth, Greed for fame, Greed for sexual desires. How can greed ever follow utulitarianism? How can you have a greedy trade if trades must be "fair"?

From my stance on this, I don't think greed creates capitalism... I think capitalism creates greed!

Innakins:

maybe if you paid any attention in school you would know the REAL theory of communisim. What you are refering to is actaully Stalinism, which is what is in place is North Korea, Cuba, and was in place in the USSR. Marx and Engales (the founders of COMMUNISM) actaully said that the PEOPLE would overthrown the government in a revolution. Also, that there would be no governing body because life would be a perfect utopia and there would be no crime.(PLEASE read the Communist Manifesto!)
HOWEVER, Stalin went and said that a small group of people would lead the revolt. They are known as the Bolsheviks. He than went and turned the whole Communism theorem upside down, by using cult of personality against the people. So your uneducated idea of communism, is actaully more of a totalitarianism. In case you dont know what that is, that is one person or a small group leading the country through propaganda and force. hello?! did you NOT listen when you learned about the USSR? And since the USSR was the first "communist" nation, Cuba, North Korea, and China followed this way of totalitarian ruling. Dont believe me, than go back to 10th grade and pay attention in World Cultures!

i dislike the philosophy of communism..
my philosophy on communism is::

People will always need a leader, and a leader, by definition, always has more power than the people.
so evn communism cant make people equal. mostly communism ends in a dictatorship, 'worse' than capitalism!!!!

The drawback for not being interested in politics is that you end up being governed by your inferiors - Plato

capitalism and liberalism and universal suffrage and democracy and republics etc. create a weak and ineffective government!!!!

in my IDEALISTIC SOCIETY capitalism and communism would be abolished and we would rule by what i call a 'MONARCHIAL SOCIALIST SOCIETISM'.
this means:- 'monarchial= with a monarch'
'socialist= a move by society for the ppl'
' societism= a society which works for the benefit of the society and the larger societies which include it' (presumably a nation)

an ENVIRONMENTALIST society in which the people earn their right to use the society to live in and in which the 'takers' in life, also called 'sponges', 'leeches' or 'slackers', are punished or removed, by exile or otherwise.
the people earn their right to use the society through not taking too much and giving their best to the society.
a society whose only cause for money is to trade for resources and for diplomatic purposes.
a society in which the people take only what they NEED, not always what they WANT, as WANT too often turns into GREED, as mentioned earlier.
a society with a more open and direct diplomacy so that everyone knows where they stand with that society.
a society in which the immigrants coming into the country do not create problems, rather, help solve them, by giving more valuable contributions to that society.
a society which values culture and environment over industry and statistics.
my society might seem UNREALISTIC but with strong leadership, like that of Mussolini or Hitler or Napoleon or Caesar, he or she can 'raise ad hoc' and create this society in a beneficial way to all involved.the key is STRONG FAITH and STRONG LEADERSHIP!!

anyway. back to milk..

due to the use of antibiotics and growth hormones in the cows udders, milk now is YELLOW due to the medicines etc.

if people drink this inorganic processed milk they are slowly becoming DEPENDENT on the antibiotics they ingest. this in turn causes the immune system to become lazy and reliant and therefore weaker!!!!

also i know through experience that organic milk tastes much bettr than inorganic milk!!!!!!mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm!!!!!!

please also look at my above post on my ideal society, i think peopel will find some reason to argue with it and i love a debate!!

By the way....
I AM A CHATTERBOX EH LOL

I AM ONLY 13 - most people find it shocking that i am 'so articulate and intelligent for my age' . tell me what you think at hangedman@hotmail.co.uk with 'articulate' as the subject.

Thanks for reading, Justice. A REPLY PLZ WOULD BE NICE :)
