So, is everyone excited about the upcoming release of the 6th installment in the Harry Potter series? Anyone getting their copy at midnight tonight? Post any thoughts about the release here. After the book is released, feel free to discuss it here as well. (But please don't post major spoilers).

Ok, I've thought of a way for people to post spoilers on this forum and hide it from those who don't wish to read it. Since our post backgrounds are light colors, we can get away with writing the spoiler text in white. White on a white background will not be visible unless the text is highlighted.

Here's an example:
SPOILER!! Highlight to Reveal
testing - highlight to reveal this

So the way to do this is to set your text within these tags:
[color=white]text[/color] - the white doesn't have to be in bold, just type it out regularly (I just had to insert that in so the post doesn't think I'm using the tag in the example). So replace "text" with whatever you want to hide.

The books are pretty interesting, but I've gotten too lazy to read them. I'll probably just read a summary online...I might still get a copy though...

yknow, just a suggestion,but If you're gonna have a spoiler, have it match your background, since even when you type in white it's still visible on your green background. just a thought.

Yeah, I tried to find a color to match my background, but there isn't any elementary color that matches it. At least with white it's not blaring visible.

Here's green for example. And you'll note that it's plainly visible.
