You can create any design for the bumper as long as it has a touch sensor I would think. There's the tracker bumper design on p. 11 - 13 and another different design on p. 35. Of course you're always free to come up with your own design. I think the intent is just to have some sort of bumper with a touch sensor.

I just attached them both to the rcx. I also plan to add a bumper to the front part.

ya, i attached them 2 a couple of beams, then attached the RCX 2 that, but I hav a different design, bcause of different pieces.

I attached one at the botton the other at the front. I also added wheels to both of them. Isn't it supposed to be like a car?
