This is a course taught by Philippe Henri, his third year at teaching AP Calculus AB and Pre-Calculus at ATDP. Prior to this, Henri taught Geometry at ATDP for seventeen years. He has a total of twenty-nine years of experience teaching at Berkeley High School where he had taught honors classes for many years and Calculus BC for three years.

This is an intense course requiring an extreme amount of time and dedication. Nevertheless, tools will be available for you to receive any extra assistance and Henri highly recommends utilizing these opportunities throughout the course. Through lectures, activities, projects, and graphing calculator usage, roughly ten hours of homework will be assigned a session while covering a year's worth of material in just eighteen classes.
