Abortion should be banned from this country with the exception of abortion for women who have been raped. Abortion is killing the life of a future human being. Many women who turn to abortion usually do it because they made a bad decision. Abortion is the easy way out, although there are many other options.

Human life is defined as "any living entity that has DNA from the species homo sapiens." This means that there are many things that can be considered human life. The possibilities are infinite. However many consider the life a human to start with a heart beat. The human hearts first beat usually begins on day twenty-two of gestation. Considering this very real fact, abortion should not be allowed after the first twenty-two days. Otherwise it would be an act of murder. These women who have previously performed abortion should be ashamed of themselves, because their children could have changed or made a difference in this world. Abortion is unfair and leads to many could have been and should have beens.

These women that choose abortion use it as a "re-do" for actions that they regret. This is stupid, everyone should think before they act. For years and years adults have been teaching the young how to practice "safe-sex". It is time to listen!

Furthermore abortion is not the only option. Putting a child up for adoption is a great possibility. There are times when family conditions are too hectic. A child is always better off in an orphanage than not alive at all. one could try starting a family. When considering all the options, too many people let their imaginations go wild. This happens too many times and the easiest way out of pregnancy is abortion. Teenagers with no sense of reality do many stupid things that they never realize that parents will always be there for their own baby. That being said abortion should never be an option.

Older women that accidently get pregnant should have an acception though. Giving birth at the age of fifty or older is very dangerous. The child and the mother are both in risk of dying. This is worse than abortion because two lives are in danger. Also women who have been raped should be allowed to have abortion. The pain and suffering the women have gone through should be the end of it. But having to carry the baby of a man that she does not love is not right. These should be the only exceptions when allowing abortion.

In conclusion, abortion is a terrible thing. Killing the life of an unborn child is just as bad as killing a thirty-year-old man who has lived half their life already. There is no reason for a human to nto have the chance to live their life. Ban abortion!

Sin City is an extremely unique movie. I personally have only watched bits and pieces of it, but the parts I watched didn't especially catch my interest. Although I have heard a great deal about Sin City, mainly from my guy friends, all I hear is about how "awesome" it is and how "hot" Jessica Alba looks in it (although she only plays a role about 5 minutes long in the movie). There are only a few points of Walsh's article that I must say I do agree with him. Such as when he states that our society is changing, and our likes and dislikes are changing. But then again change can be a good thing. Our country isn't the same as it was in the 60s when dressing up like hippies was "in" nor is it the same as the 70s when discos were "in". Change happens and it's easy for some people to get used to, but harder for others.

I don't believe that one can base what we American's enjoy watching on this one particular movie. Yes, many male viewers consider this movie to be there favorite. But what about the others males that don't? What about the females? I haven't heard of one female that is "in love" with this movie. But that's just it, in my point of view Sin City is a "guy-flick". Girls love "chick-flicks" guy's don't. And now this may be the beginning of "guy-flicks". This doesn't mean though that our society is crashing.

To sum it all up, I don't agree with very much of what Walsh has written. But he did give a very good opinion of his outlooks from this movie.

In reading this persuasive essay for the first time I got really confused. There are many words unknown to me. But after reading it for the second time I had a better sense of what the author is trying to get at. I believe that the author is trying to focus reader's attention on how the world is turning into a harsher place to live. And the reason for all this destruction is humans. All chaos that we live by is caused by humans ourselves.

If there were to be a flaw in the author's argument, then I have not been able to catch it. There are many things that I do not understand but that is because the vocabulary used is past mine. Although I am persuaded by this essay. It moved me from the beginning when the essay started relating to modern qualities of our world. "This is a world at once defined by distended, hungry bellies and $100 a bottle champagne, by massive death from curable diseases and cosmetic surgery research." Things that are not necessary in daily life truly start standing out. A main reason I am persuaded by this essay is because I am able to see where the author is coming from. It seems as if he is seeing the world the same way I am. If i were to write an essay about my worldview, the basic premises would be very similar. Our world has changed into one that is greedy. Things that other need and that we do not need, we still will take. It seems as if that is all anyone can do now.

PEPE! Well written essay :) it was a challenge for me to read.

Yellow:

Yellow is the color of happiness. The color of the sun shining on a warm summer day. Along with the yellow sunflowers swaying in the wind. Yellow reminds me of my best friend. She is yellow just like me. Because when one says yellow, I automatically think of asians. The color of our skin is yellow.

Chocolate:

Chocolate is my craving. The sweet taste fills my taste buds and runs down my throat as my stomach is finally satisfies. Chocolate is my bestfriend forever and always.

Editing:
When you say "finally satisfies" it should be finally satisfied. Because statisfied is a weird word like that and thats the way it should be gramatically correct. "Chocolate is my bestfriend forever and always." Chocolate "will be" my best friend forever and always. ~Brian

Response:
Thanks! I was just in a rush and so I couldn't think of what to write.

Flowers:
Valentines Day is the most popular day to give your loved ones flowers. Roses, Lilies, and Tulips flood supermarkets days before and yet empty out very quicky. Sweet scents fill the air as the variety of flowers open from budding.

Concluding Essay:
Love is a simple word yet so hard to explain. One can not describe what kind of a feeling they get. Butterflies in ones stomach, excitement rushing through ones veins, and the pounding of ones heart are the closest one can come to in describing what is so great about love.

Words/Phrases I like:
- rushing
- swaying
- fills the air

-During traffic hours the rushing of cars pollutes the air.
-The dim lamp sways back and forth in the haunted mansion.
-Happines fills the air on Christmas morning.

Hot humid air fills the lungs of dozens of people as they step out from subway stations. Where there are no crowds or people, there are motorcycles, cars, tour buses, and taxis packing the streets. The loud honking of cars, and screeching of tires may all seem chaotic to a foreigner, however to someone who has lived in these busy streets their whole life this is home. Scents of all sorts float through the air attracting those with an empty stomach, and also those who have just eaten.

People walking through the loud streets pass by stores, who are each blasting their own music. As shoppers walk past each store a rush of cold air is blown towards them, drying up the sweat that is constantly trickling down their cheeks. With a clear blue sky and no hint of a breeze, shopping gradually becomes more difficult. Many adults end up plodding along to reach a comfortable spot where they can rest. However, the young teenagers continue working their way until they reach the end of the street.

In the midst of the crowded streets, there are street vendors selling their delicious foods. The aroma of each cart attracts many people. These carts have a variety of specialties that are loved by all. On every corner, there is a store very similar to 7-11, if not one. In these stores, there are infinite amounts of drinks you can buy. Also, piled on the shelves are instant noodles, chips, candy and anything one can imagine.

Schoolmates walk around in their plain, blue and white uniforms while gazing at all the foreigners, laughing as they get tricked into paying higher prices. And once the day has turned to dusk, the dangerous yet thrilling streets of Taipei are the places to be. The subways are once again flooded with crowds of people. But instead of going home, their adventure continues to another part of town. And the luminous lights, loud laughter, and the scent of mouth-watering foods continue to fill the air.
