Hi, I'm Susanne, your teacher. As I told you this is my second year teaching Urban Studies at ATDP. I also teach Intro to Drawing on Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings. The rest of the year I am an architecture history PhD student at UC Berkeley. I also received my BA in Landscape Architecture from Cal. Here is a photo of me in studio back then.

Now I love to read about and visit cities. I travel often and love to visit art museums, unique architecture, and see different urban environments. Recently I visited Italy and Greece with my sister. My favorite places were Venice, Positano, and Santorini. This was my fourth trip to Europe. This year I will travel to London, Thailand, and India. Here is a photo of me at the Bridge of Sighs in Venice.

When I am not teaching or traveling I enjoy dancing. I mostly dance Samba, and have recently performed at the Exploratorium in SF and La Pen in Berkeley . However I also enjoy modern, ballet, and Capoeira (Brazilian martial arts).
