For my project, my main focus will be on teenagers (boys and girls) and how much they use the Internet. For example, I asked about how much they go on the Internet and what kind of communication they use while on the Internet. I handed out surveys that my respondents completed.
I thought this project would be really fun and interesting because everybody is talking about how kids/teenagers are getting addicted to Myspace. I even read an article about how you can tell if you are addicted. They do not talk about instant messaging as much, but there have been some debates about whether or not it is good to use and safe. These are issues that are happening right now.
I asked a series of questions including questions about which ones they have (Myspace or Instant Messaging) and whether or not they met someone new over the Internet.
