What is a Weblog?
A weblog is defined as "a web site organized by time.". Weblogs are sites that have different pages that are organized by their creation date. Many weblogs have a calendar so that you can view each day in which there was a webpage created. When you click on the specific date on the calendar, it will take you to the weblog post for that day (if there was one created). Old posts are not deleted or 'updated' like on a regular website, but are usually archived for later viewing. Weblogs are often used for personal or public journals, but are also used by companies as a quick and easy way to get news out. For a good example of a simple weblog that is updated every single day, go to Lloyd Nebres' weblog.
What is this Weblog for?
This class' weblog is mainly for prelab answers. Because of the limited time and vast number of questions, we can't possibly check each student's entire prelab assignment every day. Therefore, we will check every day in the beginning of class to make sure you attempted to complete every question, and you can then check your answers by viewing the weblog. Click on the date of the assignemnt due date to view the prelab answers. Each weblog entry will also remind you what is due the next day. To see what questions are due for each specific chapter, click on the Homework Chart link.
